Garnish I love a country, my boyfriend goes to the contemporary look. How I can mix the two styles?
My house is large and spacious. Much lace flowers and country blue. I even made beautiful quilts that hang on the walls and grace each bed. His favorite color is the router. Blankets belong in bed, under the bed covers. More contemporary. I need advice on how to make us feel comfortable and enjoy this space, we (he and I and our five kids!) Will soon share. We care about each other much, but the country mouse and city mouse need to reach some type of conpromise … Can you help?
I have the same problem with my husband. What we have done is more or less close to the two styles. Took a very contemporary sofa soft cut for the show in a mole. I paint the walls of this room mint green powder. My curtains are red flowers …. TV and bedside table are contemporary. My coffee table is a hand me down a wood. The room looks very good and it fits well. In the kitchen, my country table that looks like someone attacked him with chains. My cabinets are honey oak. The walls are a very green country blue … but formal damask curtains contemporary and all my accessories are contemporary (, silver, crystal and black.) Maybe your quilts on the wall are too high. Mole can be use on a couch instead of a wall. Make every effort to compromise with him and then once he feels he accomplished his purpose, if not floof search.
