English Country Wedding Ideas In London

If you live around London, you may think that a country wedding is out of the question.  After all, it can be an inconvenience for many of your friends and family to have to travel to the countryside for your wedding.  In addition to traveling, they may have to spend the night along the way.  This can be costly for many people and out of the question for some.  But that does not mean that you have to give up on your idea of a country wedding.

An English country wedding is more of a mindset than an actual venue.  Whilst there are many venue such as stately homes within the countryside that are ideal for a posh country wedding, you do not have to have your wedding in such a place for it to be considered country.  Consider who you know as well as your surroundings and try to come up with ideas to create the country atmosphere for yourself – even if you are right in the heart of London.

One way that you can bring the country to your wedding is through flowers.  If you cannot have your wedding in the English countryside, bring the countryside to you.  By having a variety of flowers at your wedding, including wildflowers, you can bring a bit of the countryside to your event.  You can decorate any venue with flowers and make it seem like spring, even in the dead of winter.  Use a florist that knows about country weddings to make your London country wedding come alive.

Another way that you can bring the country to your wedding is with music.  Seek out musicians who can give your wedding a country flair.  Those who will play traditional Scottish or English music can give your wedding something unique and bring country to you.

If you cannot have your wedding outdoors, you can bring your bridal party to the gardens for your wedding photos. Consider a trip to Kew Gardens with your bridal party and photographer.  These gardens are among the most beautiful in the world and will display beautifully in photographs.  Be sure to schedule the event with the coordinators of the garden beforehand.

If possible, have your wedding outdoors.  You can have an enclosed tent that will keep away any bad weather as well as bugs.  If you have your wedding in your own garden, or that of a friend, it will seem like a country wedding even if it is right in the middle of the city.

If you want an English country wedding, you can have one, no matter where you live or what your budget.  Remember that a country wedding is more of a state of mind than an actual venue and you will make yours a day to remember.

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Cake decorating is one of the sugar arts that uses icing or frosting and other edible decorative elements to make otherwise plain cakes more visually interesting. Alternatively, cakes can be molded and sculpted to resemble threedimensional persons, places and things. In many areas of the world, decorated cakes are often a focal point of a special celebration such as a birthday, graduation, bridal shower, wedding, or anniversary. During the 1840s, the advent of temperaturecontrolled ovens and the production of baking soda and baking powder made baking cakes much easier. Even though baking from scratch decreased during the latter part of the 20th century in the United States decorated cakes have remained an important part of celebrations such as weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, showers and other special occasions. Recently cakes decorated with fondant have become extremely popular and resulted in several reality based TV shows across the country.
