What is this style of decorating?
I want to redecorate my home (nothing major like painting or buying any new furniture) but small stuff like adding some vases, wall plates etc.
I have wooden floors and wooden furniture. Most of it is pretty dark but not dark as in the victorian times.
I like to have a country theme (NOT RUSTIC) and I hate clutter. I want to have a bungalow kind of theme with dainty teapots and teacups (again not all over the place). I like wall plates ( antique or I have seen these really nice blue and white printed plates. I like to have lacy table clothes.
I have all these ideas I dont know how to put all these together. I’ve tried searching online but I dont know what my style of decorating is. So its kind of hard to narrow my search. Any advice would be great.
It sounds like you are describing “Cottage Style”. You can get wonderful blue & white plates in Chinatown, Cost Plus and look at these from PB

They would look great clustered around a mirror. Also think about adding some blue and white pillows.
